After a nice stay in Warsaw, the second part of my trip in Poland took place in one of my favorite Polish cities. Going to Open'er Festival happened to be an excellent occasion to spend a few days in Gdansk and enjoy its magnificent old town.
Charming, cobbled streets and delicate, amber light not only encourage long walks, but also make you wanna get up very early and go for a lil' shoot.
As many cities in Poland, Gdansk is literally besieged by tourists. Therefore, the only opportunity to take some good photos is just after the sunrise, around 5:30 am. Even though it's always difficult for me to get up that early, I manage to gather all motivation that I can find and go out, as it's definitely worth doing so.
The compensation of being an early bird is not only a wonderful light and almost empty city but also the possibility to see a few, real inhabitants of the Old Town and a lonely cat, strolling along Mariacka street...
