Around this time last year I was about to discover a whole new country with its wonderful people and unknown tastes. A trip to Myanmar was a huge, unexpected adventure and I can only wish I was holding a blog at that moment and be able to share my impressions not only through photography.
Unbelievable architecture of the temples, colorful cities, lively markets, stunning light and dream-like landscapes - it all literally blew me away. However, above all, all those smiling and welcoming people made me hit the milestone as regards street photography and portraiture, for never before had I put so much heart in capturing faces and emotions.
Since then I did many other travels, but hardly any of them were as spontaneous and full of adventures as this one. Wandering like a free spirit, sometimes without knowing exactly where the upcoming night would be spent meant overcoming apprehensions and enjoying a constant adrenaline boost. Oh how I miss getting out of the comfort zone again!
Luckily, I'm gonna hit the road this week already and I couldn't be more happy about it. And it looks like this trip is going to be as exciting and adventurous as the last year's exploration of Myanmar. Going east is definitely my thing, only this time the final destination will be way much... colder!
During the next 2 weeks I'll be mostly offline and there will be a longer pause on the blog. I'll let you know when a brand new stuff is going to be delivered here again :)
