The fall season will begin in no more than 10 days, but incredibly high temperatures (more than 30 Celsius degrees this week!) make it feel like it's still the middle of holiday time here in Paris. In spite of these unusual conditions, the first signs of stalking fall could've been noticed even at the very beginning of September.
Even if it's still very warm and green, in some places leaves are visibly getting reddish and in other places they already lie on the ground in small quantities. A good observer will notice these small signs, the announcement of the upcoming explosion of colors.
As a photographer, I just can't wait for my favorite season to start at its best. Wandering around the beautiful Parisian parks, Tuileries gardens, Jardin du Palais Royal and many others, I try to track small changes in the urban nature. The colors are slowly peeping out from behind the green, summer veil - no doubt that the show is about to begin.
So let's enjoy picnics, cycling and walking around the city as it's probably the last burst of summer sun this year...
