I'm lucky enough to have a job that gives me an opportunity to get out of Paris from time to time. This is, without a doubt, one of the best things about being a photographer. This time too, I couldn't be more happy to jump on a train and I make it to London for a lil' shooting.
London is a city that I always enjoy a lot and it's really a shame that I had only gone there twice so far, during several years of living in Paris. Especially that it's only a two hours ride!
Gotta change this and go there more often, cause London is a breath of fresh air for me, a truly unique ambience that is something probably only a few cities in the world have and that can't be put into words. Something that attracts people from all over the world and makes this city so full of charm.
It's also one of the few places in Europe where I feel really "abroad". The left-hand traffic, different currency (at least for all those already accustomed to the Euro), all those bloody sockets ;) and that British, laid-back lifestyle... I could definitely spend lots of time there, shooting, eating donuts and discovering all the cute places that London is so full of.
Unfortunately, all job related travels hardly ever last as long as I wish and it was so this time too. During my two days stay and shooting for a client I definitely didn't have enough time to take pictures for myself. At least not as much as I'd like to. One more reason to come back very soon...
