Going home for Christmas is always something that I'm pretty much looking forward to from mid November. This time wasn't any different and I was happy to come back to my hometown, Słupsk. As much as I was eager to meet up with my family and friends, taste some excellent food and enjoy the Polish winter, this year's Christmas turned out to be very different from all the previous ones. Unfortunately not in a very good way...
Due to some unexpected events earlier this December, together with incredibly bad weather conditions (all my hopes for frosty, white Polish winter were wiped away by heavy rains and warm wind), I haven't taken any photos recently and my camera has stayed untouched since my arrival one week ago.
Even if I start missing going out and shooting, I think that a lil' break can do some good to me. In the meantime, my thoughts go back to one of the most beautiful winters that I've experienced a couple of years ago in Poland. Frosty roads, forests covered with fresh snow, branches twinkling and tinkling gently with ice... Oh how I miss all these!
With some luck I might be enjoying a little piece of winter wonderland in February as new, exciting adventure is about to come my way.
But right now, all I think about is my family and I wish you, my dear Readers, all the same. May this Christmas time be full of cheer and warmth, shared with the loved ones. See you guys in 2017!
